I ordered this to donate to the foster program at our local shelter. Foster families can always use enclosures to comfortably confine litters during puppy/kitten season. This one looks like it would be great for mothers & kittens during their first 6 weeks. Small breed dogs too. All the parts look good, and the enclosure should be fairly easy to construct with the provided hardware (I haven't put it together yet as it's a gift). Being able to store some supplies right on top is a big plus. Looks good to go, and I'll be happy to donate it. :) **Put it together after all, and I want to say again - young kittens and small breed puppies. It's plenty sturdy for them, but older kittens will climb right out, and larger puppies rough-housing will be able to push it around. This would be nice to set up in a communal area if you have other animals. Mothers can feel protected from them in the enclosed area, while curious babies have a protected area to roam. Plenty of room for beds, litter boxes, etc.. It's a little hard to pull apart between uses, but it all fits into a fairly small box for storage. ** I don't think I recieved a door latch?? Can't be sure in case one of my cats knocked it off the table when I was photographing parts and lost it somewhere playing with it, but I should have found it by now.... Carole. Grants Pass, OR. Dalen Plastic Barrier Garden Fencing is a 3 ft. x 50 ft. roll of lightweight, weather-resistant plastic mesh designed as a temporary or seasonal garden barrier. Use it to keep dogs, rabbits, and small animals out of garden beds, define landscaping borders, or protect new plantings — then roll it up and reuse it season after season. The recyclable, heat-resistant material holds its shape in sun and cold and installs in minutes with garden stakes — no special tools required.

I have extremely hungry deer who are not picky unfortunately! The only truly effective measure is to wrap my precious trees and plants! Thank God there are some they dislike! I am not always home to sprinkle powder or spray deer repellent which are both effective. I bought ultrasonic lights were effective at first then the deer ignored them. The skunks did not appreciate my efforts though so I had to stop using! I avoided mesh because obvious reasons but it's the only sure proof method for me. This is the second type of mesh I've used. The first was more nylon type material and was a bit challenging to work with but super flexible. I wanted this type again but was unavailable so I went with a different one. This second mesh is stiffer and more of a wire consistency but cuts easily with scissors. I would say it is more for use with stakes. The major problem I had was wrapping things too tightly so be aware it's so easy to do and then it must be loosened. Also, the first nylon mesh catches on itself so unwrapping and rewrapping is almost impossible!. Jeanie. Cambridge, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026
