The Painswick Storage Bench is the perfect perch for removing boots in an entryway or garden shoes in the mud room. Crafted of pine in a smooth finish, Painswick's three removable woven baskets provide no-fuss storage, and a white cotton cushion completes the look with comfort and farmhouse charm.

Turned out very nice! I love it! Going to put this in my foyer for people to put their shoes in. Took about 30-45 minutes to put together wasn’t bad at all. The only thing we had an issue with is with one of the screws on the basket. We had to leave that one out because it would not screw in for some reason and it doesn’t affect the usability of it because it’s the screw in the back. Overall very nice buy highly recommend!. Crafted entirely from wood, this bench is designed to blend seamlessly with any interior style, offering both function and style. Whether placed in the entryway, living room, or bedroom, its inviting natural finish adds warmth and elegance to your space.

The quality is very good, I'd say closer to 5 stars. There's some minor sheen differences in the wood that I expect will look more consistent after cleaning. Packaging was good also, very easy to break down and separate out the styrofoam and cardboard as I'm able to recycle both. However, the unit was damaged -- one leg where it curves to form the long "ski" broke clean through. I don't know whether to blame the packaging or the design of the unit (but it is very stout). Maybe the shipper. In any case, customer service was painless and really top notch. I opted for a discount. I ended up repairing the leg and I'm happy overall.. Paige. Anacortes, WA. Sat Nov 08 2025

For the price this is a perfectly fine little storage bench. It’s nothing spectacular but it only needs to hold some towels and bath supplies. It wasn’t hard to figure out how to put together though. Also it is way more orange than expected. It will still work though.. Rebecca. MO. Mon Jul 27 2026

Easy to put together and feels sturdy. Def strong enough for my kids toys. It’s not solid wood or super strong paint so it will eventually get scuffed up. Very sturdy bench! It’s pretty heavy. The only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is the hinges on the inside made it stick up on one side so I just didn’t use it. Overall good quality.. Emily. Illinois. Wed Sep 30 2026

The flip-top lid opens to reveal a spacious interior compartment for stowing away spare blankets and seasonal accessories. Nice quality and just what I was looking for at the end of our bed. The only reason I give it 4⭐️ as opposed to 5 is that what is described as light grey is actually more of a light beige. It is a neutral color, so it still looks good, but I was hoping for an actual light grey.. Claire. Washington. Sat Oct 03 2026
