Don’t remember reading in description it is NOT recommended to hang on drywall, but by the time I was reading the instructions, I was already committed. A bubble level and drill bit were even included to hang the shelf. I installed by myself (72 yo F) with help from a barstool and trashcan providing support while doing final installation. I used expanding wall anchors and so far it seems stable. The top screws on the wall bracket were hard to reach due to placement and support bracket being in the way, so I took frequent breaks when the screws were not cooperating. Then again, what should be expected from a budget piece of furniture. It’s disposable. However if you need something to fulfill a space that is “good enough” this is your piece. Overall an amazing desk for small spaces. It is super sturdy - you would never know it's a folding desk (doesn't move at all when typing, etc.). Very easily to install including a mounting template. The only downsides are the finish isn't quite perfect - a few bubbles / imperfections. I don't care about it generally, but for the price, I would expect it to be much better.. Shazia. Toronto, ON.
