Worked well for our studio vacation rental, where people occasionally don't read the description and don't realize it only offers one queen bed until they walk in! This will fold away into the closet under the stairway when not in use. All the tools needed to assemble the bed are included in the package upon delivery. The absolutely adorable little hammer wasn't needed, but I have it in my toolbox! We had to flip the footboard to where we were putting the headboard to make the holes match - so before you panic, try that! This turned out to be a great purchase and exactly what I needed. It was quick and easy to assemble, and the mattress is truly 5 inches with good-quality memory foam-my Pops says it’s very comfortable and said he doesn't need a mattress topper. It’s easy to open at night and store in the morning, rolls smoothly without scratching my floors, feels sturdy with the wheels locked, and fits perfectly in my small living room closet. I’m very pleased with the quality. For extra peace of mind, I did purchase a thin rubber floor runner to roll it on when moving it to and from the closet, and I added quarter-size felt pads under the legs for additional floor protection. It works exactly how we expected it to. It does take quite a bit of time to set up. It has a lot of moving parts. However, it works very well stores into it extremely small space and the mattress is pretty comfortable. We bought a mattress topper for it and it will be perfect for our spare bedroom. The design is pretty cool. It’s only about 4 feet tall so it does look like a dresser in my studio. Having the charging station is pretty great, I wish that it had power on both sides, and I also wish that the plug was longer and flat because it forces me to push the unit away from the wall, which is not ideal on the small space but it does work and we ran and extension cord to make sure it can all work. Overall, for the sale price, this is an excellent piece and we hope to get a lot of use out of it! One last thing, like most inexpensive furniture, it’s not going to move houses well. We are very satisfied with the Farmhouse Murphy Bed. The actual product is well represented online, including the color. It took my husband about 12 hours to assemble by himself. It would go a bit faster with a second person. There were a lot of pieces and he did follow the instructions which were well written. The only reason 4 vs 5 stars due to the following: assembly time (it still would take a while for 2 people to assemble) and the cabinet would look better with screw caps giving it a finished look. No one has slept on it yet, but assume it will be fairly comfortable for guests. We would have gone with a thicker mattress but followed the guidelines to make sure the cabinet would close. The slats seem to support the mattress. We hope the mattress does not slide around too much once someone tries to sleep on it. The bed does have to be weighted down to keep it from rising off the floor if no one is on the bed. See photos showing foot of bed not weighted down and weighted down with ankle weights. We plan to place a side table to offer a night stand. The small shelf looks a bit flimsy, so we will be cautious. I am not very tall and was able to open and close with ease. I ordered two of these beds for extra Thanksgiving guests. They were delivered quickly. The quality is overall very good. I was concerned when I initially opened the package and found dents in several of the struts. It turned out these dents had nothing to do with the strength of the product (see photos). I am a small 58-year-old female with reasonable mechanical ability and assembled the beds by myself. One of the beds had a wrench that did not fit. I have options in my tool chest, but fortunately the wrench in the other bed fit fine (see photo). My guests found the beds comfortable. They are narrow, but large enough to be adequate for a few nights. I set them up in the exercise area of my basement, and really had plenty of room.
