Very nice king size bed frame, but it has SO MANY PIECES.. it took us 4 hours to put this together. The drawers underneath are flimsy wire racks that have tiny plastic wheels underneath. This was actually very simple to put together. I did it 99 by myself. I did have help standing up the head board once I finished that. I feel that it is good quality the metal is sturdy, the boards are thick. I really Like the finish that I was originally very iffy on. I was also able to find matching dressers! Thy are a hair darker but still look nice. I think the whole thing took about 2 hours by myself. Unboxing thought took about and hour and that was crazy haha. Decent bed. Feels sturdy enough I was able to put it together alone, but it took about 8 hours going at a slow pace with lots of breaks. Get a kneepad if you have one. Be sure to look at both sides of each piece immediately after you attach to make sure you have the right orientation. I found a backwards one twice and it was a considerable setback. The directions could be confusing at times, generally just sitting and staring at the parts for a bit or looking ahead to next few steps would made it clear. I'm giving it a 4 star review be use a received 3 unlabeled parts, luckily I could narrow them down. And because the pull out shelfs cannot be wheeled out , at least if you have carpet, and are a very tight fit. Photo attached shows why. The bottom of the shelf sides touches the ground and makes the wheels pointless. I will likely use them in the closet instead. The storage drawers are a little awkward to use. I struggle get the hook lined up and set in the slot to close them. Do not recommend if you have a bad back or mobility issues. The light is great if you like a bit of a night light.. M. Madison, WI. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it does take some time, but I chose to build it in sections over two days, which made the process very manageable. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. This is quite a sturdy bed frame. I really like the washed wood color. The built in shelves are perfect. The light in the headboard is an adhesive tape led strip, so not the best design and is a little difficult to get straight and the ends are already starting to come away from the wood. But it is nice to have the light available when needed. I have a boxspring under the mattress that I will probably remove as it is not necessary since there is a good slat support provided and makes the mattress a little too high.
