My thought when taking it out of the box was that the inner core or the furniture looked cheaply made, however it’s actually really good quality and builds nicely which you learn as you start working with it. The instructions were simple step by step instructions which I actually enjoyed working with to build these three of these Nicolee pieces. I am so impressed by this piece. I will not lie and tell you that I was excited when I saw how many pieces there were to put together. I almost paid for the installation after it sat in the box for a few days. However, if you pull everything out and lay the pieces out and in their sections it wasn’t bad at all. I broke the install down into a 2 day event so all in all it took me about 3 hours alone. The last door was a little tricky since you must adjust it a few times for it to close perfectly and be aligned correctly. Worth every tweak. I bought it for my office since they did not provide storage for items in our new location. I have had nothing but compliments on how my office looks like a serene spa.
