I LOVE these bookcases. They’re sturdy. They’re cute as hell. And I’m about to fill them up!!! However… it took me a full day to build the first one because I had to CONSTANTLY drill my own holes in the wood. It made it so difficult. It was the worst. Traumatized me before building the second. The second one was fine. Took me like 2 hours.. Natalie. Cypress, TX. Mon Sep 14 2026

Tall and very pretty. My only issue is that all the large screws on the inside are visible, it’s slightly wobbly, and the hinges don’t permit for the gap between the doors to close anymore than it is.. Amanda. West Islip, NY. Sat Oct 10 2026

Overall, the wall units look nice in our living room (we bought two). Each took my wife and I about two hours to assemble. Instructions were thorough, but you really need to be careful and double check every step. After we completed the assembly, we noticed that the part eight and nine (middle) shelves were installed upside down on one of the units. Also, the round stickers provided to cover the locking screws are very flimsy. They are just sticky paper that has very little surface area with which to adhere. We ended up using Elmer’s glue to keep them down. Other than the shelf inside the cabinet, none of the other shelves are adjustable. Also, I certainly would not place anything too heavy on the shelves (like lots of hardcover books) as they do not appear Capable of providing sufficient support without bending.. Tom. Bluffton, SC. I couldn’t be happier with these bookcases. They look beautiful, feel sturdy once assembled, and offer a surprising amount of storage. The combination of open shelving, drawers, and cabinet space makes them both functional and attractive. Assembly is definitely a two-person job and is a bit involved. Our first bookcase took about four hours to assemble, but by the time we built the second one, we’d learned the process and finished it in under three hours. One tip for future buyers the instructions have you attach the hinges to the cabinet doors first and then install them after the cabinet is fully assembled. We found it much easier to attach the hinge hardware to the cabinet frame before installing the top panel, then attach the doors as the final step. It’s still a little fiddly, but it’s much easier than trying to work in a cramped space with tiny screws. Overall, these bookcases exceeded my expectations. They look far more expensive than they are, and I’d absolutely buy them again.. Hillary. Ypsilanti, MI. Sun Jul 12 2026
