Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. Fully assembled was exactly that … open the box and hang the unit. Well packaged with plenty of protection from the rigors of shipping … and they got it out for delivery in very short order. Had it in hand 3 days after I ordered. Well mostly in hand … had to retrieve it from my neighbor as Fed-X failed to get it to my door. Overall pleased with the quality of the furniture.. David. We have a plywood wall behind the drywall in this room, so I was able to mount it securely. I purchased and installed a grommet so the cords won't show. I would give the negative stars if I could honestly. I expected better from wayfair. The material for the back is flimsy wood thinner than a centimeter and will NOT hold this thing up even in drilled into the studs. it says it has a weight capacity of 150 lbs but I couldn't place a decoration let alone our play station on it without it falling off the wall. So if you’re expecting this thing to hold up even the smallest of TVs good luck with that. We now have 4 large holes in our wall from it not being able to hold itself up. And falling off. This was the worst purchase I’ve ever made, and we wasted so much money on this thing. I advise you to shop somewhere else. The floating stand came in a beat up box and is damaged on the right drawer. Wayfair was awesome and will be sending a new front. Update Wayfair sent a new floating shelf. 1/5 stars is generous - what else can be said besides this thing is a giant pile of garbage. Comes with instructions that are terrible and if you were hoping for video instructions, this item comes with a QR code you can scan for instructions on how to assemble a completely different item of furniture. If you get through the instructions and successfully mount it to the wall, get ready for a 45 degree sag as there are only two contact points into plain ol' drywall. If you secure the stand to your studs (using your own screws, of course) then have fun trying to get the doors to sit flush with the warped wood. Want to return it? Well, get ready to take some pictures of the defects (sure, understandable) and then go through the effort of shipping this flaming pile of garbage back to them so they can repackage it and sell it to another poor schmuck.
