I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. This is a nice umbrella stand and looks great. My only issue was that I underestimated how much weight I needed for my umbrella, so I use sandbags for extra stability. Love it! It is heavy, as it says it is, and doesn't require filling with sand or water which is nice. The wheels on the one side make it easier to move when on a smooth surface (otherwise I just pick it up entirely). I love that it comes with 3 fillers to allow it to fit from a small to a large pole, great idea and design! The wheel on the side is nice to tighten it down to the pole so it stays put easily. The 20.5" diameter base features a 14" high stem that accommodates poles from 1 ½" through 2" thick.
