My mantel turned out wonderfully after staining. Make sure you follow instructions and use specific type of stain to get great consistent color coverage. We installed better brackets as the weight support limit was not enough for what I wanted to place on top. The additional corbels went nicely and added additional heft to the mantel. Great product.. I had ordered two of these from another company (A-Z). They were packaged really bad and one was broken. I then ordered one from Wayfair and all though it was packaged so much better with extra packaging it was broken in half . I think that the company that makes them doesn't ship them to retailers very well. That being said my contractor was able to glue it cause it was cleanly broken and you can't tell. They are really beautiful just order early cause you may have to go through a few to get good ones . I'm very happy I got them they really add a lot to my mantle .. Christina Olivieri. My husband and I are truly happy with the “Traditional Recessed Wood Vintage Decor Corbels.” We purchased (2) during our kitchen remodel as the extended pass through quartz countertop on the lanai needed to be aesthetically pleasing to cover the black brackets, as well as exceptional quality to assist with providing support for the new quartz countertops. The corbels are substantial in size quite striking, as well as very reminiscent of one from a historic style home.
