Artist Jean Kenna was born in Seoul, Korea. She studied illustration at Art Center College of Design where she developed her fundamental drawing and painting skills, as well as getting basic knowledge of technical programs. For Jean, art means lots of things. She thinks art is her language and a privilege given to her to express. It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspirations in small things that make her excited. For example, movies, a lazy day on a beach, and the silence of a rainy day. Although she mostly works on digital media, Jean loves to draw with a pen and markers. She especially likes to draw cityscapes which involve perspective and stories of city life. During the weekends, Jean often goes outside into the city, studies people and buildings around her and brings them to life in her sketchbook. Jean believes the purpose of an artists work is in bringing excitement and happiness into peoples minds. I love to create art that makes your heart warm.
Frame is warped, bows in toward the center of the picture (~½” gap at the edges, touches print in the center).
To spare myself the significant delay in time to get another picture, I removed the frame and throwing it away and hung the picture up without a frame. What a waste.
This picture should have never been shipped with such an obvious defect.. Anonymous. Mon Jun 02 2025
