I purchased this rock to cover a well casing, and it fits perfectly. It looks pretty realistic and does a job. Since it’s light, it came with 3 pins to stabilize the rock. The GenStone wall cap is a versatile trim piece. It is commonly used to finish the top of a retaining wall, half wall, planter and has even been used as a storage niche in a shower. The wall cap also features a recessed area on the bottom side of the piece which can be used to create an attractive overhang where the cap transitions into another building material. The recessed niche can also be trimmed off with any ordinary hand saw to make the piece totally flat. The wall cap is designed to be used with GenStone panels and is available in all GenStone stacked stone colors to match the GenStone ledgers and trim pieces. The wall cap is installed with premium construction adhesive and screws on the top of the piece. All fastener holes and transitions between wall caps can be concealed with GenStone eXact color caulking and perfectly blended with GenStone color-specific paint kits.

I haven’t finished installing them yet, but the paving stones are very pretty. They’re a good size, have nice color variation across the pieces, and are nicely brightening up the side of my house. They arrived on a small, less than 2x3’ pallet that will be easy to dispose of, and the drivers were easy to contact, friendly, and right on time. 2 of 20 pieces were broken, but I consider some breakage normal whenever you’re shipping tile or stone. I needed to cover a septic clean out pipe by my driveway. It works fine. Just a tad smaller than 12” for sure. It barely fit over the small pipe. This looks much better in person than it even did in the photograph! It’s much sturdier than it looked- made of some sort of heavy duty resin. I didn’t even need the stakes to put in the ground because it’s very sturdy. And it arrived two days early! I’m using it to cover the clean out pipe from our plumbing.
