This gate is made out of super steel which normally would be great but there's no pre drilled holes for the hinges and latch and its nearly impossible to make a dent in the gate. So I cant attach it to the matching FE26 hinges nor the latch. 0 stars. For the price i paid I wanted something easy to put together that actually works. It is really pretty. Wasn’t hard to assemble. Unfortunately the latch situation others have described in their reviews are true. The latch must have been put on backwards because the gate will NOT stay shut. Any little breeze will open it. I’ll have to figure out a latch that will match it and actually keep it closed. I ordered this gate because my other one stated to fall apart. It was pressed wood and metal and lasted 4 years, so time to replace it.
