First problem was that a couple of the pieces were broken upon arrival. However, customer service was super responsive and shipped us new parts within a week. Next, the instructions are very confusing, especially if you wish to assemble this table with the long side facing left. However, after all is said and done, the table looks great and the quality is superb once all of the pieces are put together correctly. Setup was done by 2 people at most times, as mentioned, there were points of confusion. When the pieces were found to be broken, we couldnt resume until the pieces were shipped to us, which had been quick. After having this nook for a month, it works really well - we use it everyday for breakfast, and dinner. The cushions are comfy enough for eating, and the bench is a nice addition for when there is not enough room on the main bench. You can fit about 4-5 people with this nook, depending on how big people are. One thing that I wish was a bit better was the sturdiness of the table, as it can move if you push it a tiny bit. Absolutely love it. So much nicer than I was expecting. Heavy duty, does not look or feel cheap. Took a couple hours to put together, but I completely glossed over the part of the instructions when it said to only screw some of the screws in by 80%. Make sure to follow that part - you need to be able to have a little give in order to get some of the other pieces into place correctly. Arrived damaged on one corner and a small dent thru the veneer on the table top. Wayfair said the manufacturer would reach out in two business days but its so heavy I dont want to handle a return. I think Ill put a coat of lacquer on it to keep my kids from scratching it. For the price this is an excellent solid table. Fits great in my small space and two wider chairs still fit side by side on the length.
