The sofa itself is really nice. It's a perfect light beige color. Fabric is nice. It's really stiff, which I personally prefer.. I assume it will break in too though. The main thing I wanted to come here and say is that "white glove" or "full service" delivery is such a waste of money. It was free this time, so I went with it, but I said to my wife, it'll probably come damaged.. because what they do is assemble it at a local warehouse and load it wrapped in a blanket on the truck like movers would. Sure enough, it came damaged, smashed in on one side. Also the "movers" had the white cushions stacked in the middle of the street barely teetering on a blanket... any decent breeze or car driving by and they'd have been filthy. Wayfair is sending a new one so that's fine, but for the hassle, I'd rather have it delivered in the box.. this one is literally the main base, 4 cushions and then 4 feet.. anyone could assemble it. Update: Wayfair sent a new one, this time had dirty stains all along the front of the cushion like it was dropped on the warehouse floor. I bought it in green and it looks just as shown. I bought this to save money. My husband always buys furniture from "reputable" places like RH that cost THOUSANDS and I am always trying to reduce costs. I asked him to give me a chance on this couch vs. another that was 4x the cost and he loves it and approves. The seat is firm but we like that for our purpose of entertaining, not lounging (in contrast to our cozy couch in the family room). We have found that if a couch is too soft it is harder for guests to sit upright, socialize and be present because it is harder to do that on a couch that is conducive to a more relaxed posture. Others should take that into consideration before just complaining that it is too stiff. Clearly it is a structured couch. Something has to maintain that structure. Just like handbags, there are slouchy bags/totes and there are structured bags. Consider it's use and where you are choosing to place it. (Please excuse the temporary shades and lack of decor. The shades are disposable paper ones because we are waiting for our shades to be made and our furniture and rug to arrive.
