I purchased the Vornado Portal Low Profile Window Fan for our nearly 200-year-old farmhouse, which does not have central air conditioning, and it has made a noticeable difference in keeping the house comfortable. Love these blinds! The pullpush to lowerraise is very smooth and easy to use. The only thing to warn about is that they are quite sheer. These were not hard to install, I watched a video. I really recommend a video, it makes the directions make sense. Getting it level is the hard part. Drilling the screws in was probably the harder part. The shades came the exact size I measured, kudos to the person who cuts them to size.
