I got this 15 ft patio umbrella from Wayfair because I needed serious shade for my backyard, and honestly, it does exactly what I needed it to do. The size is impressive. It covers a large area really well, especially over a patio table, chairs, and part of the surrounding yard. In Florida sun, that matters. This is not a tiny decorative umbrella pretending to help. It actually creates a usable shaded space. The umbrella itself looks really nice once it is up. The neutral color works well with my yard and patio setup, and it has a clean, simple look without feeling cheap or flimsy. I also like the double-sided design because it gives much better coverage than a standard round patio umbrella. The crank handle makes opening and closing it pretty straightforward once everything is assembled and standing. That said, this thing is heavy. Very heavy. That is good in the sense that it feels sturdy, but you should absolutely expect some effort when setting it up. I was able to get it together, but getting it upright was not exactly a delicate one-person activity. I would strongly recommend having two people, especially when lifting the umbrella into place and getting it stabilized. This is not something you casually pop up while holding an iced coffee in the other hand unless you are secretly training for a patio furniture strongman competition. The base is also important. Because the umbrella is so wide, you really need to make sure it is properly weighted and positioned, especially if you live somewhere windy or stormy. I would not leave it open during bad weather. Overall, I am happy with this umbrella. It gives a ton of shade, looks good in the yard, and feels sturdy once it is set up. I love that it came with a base, but note that you need a lot of sand to fill the four sandbags that are inside of the base. Fantastic purchase! First think is this is big and tall. Be prepared to get a lot of sand. I bought 300lbs. and it took it like nothing. Locate and place base begore filling for sure. The umbrella itself is wonderful. It is beautiful and covers a large area and just looks luxurious. It opens abd closes with ease. The 360 degree turning is also easy and a great feature. I’ve had this for around 3 weeks now. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is I thought the frame was going to be black instead of brown in color so I don’t think the brown looks good with the gray top but overall it is very sturdy and well may but it was hard for one person to put together so it took three people to put it together and about three hours I would say. It works great for any time of year and we have really enjoyed it this summer so far because it has kept the bugs out and and have used the fire pit under it and been able to sit out in the evenings and enjoy it.. This gazebo turned out fantastic! The directions were pretty clear in terms of setup, and I was able to put it together with a couple friends' help over the course of about 8 hours. I had to anchor the gazebo into my concrete patio, but other than that step everything was super straightforward. The gazebo came together beautifully and I love it.
