Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. A very heavy-duty bed frame that is specialized to fit standard King or standard queen bedding. This frame will not accommodate California or Western King bedding. Frame size must be specified at the time of purchase. The frame is not adjustable and can only fit one size or the other. The dimensions of the king bedding need to be 76"w x 80" long. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has ten (10) legs that utilize our uniquely designed high-strength glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. This frame sits approximately 8" off the floor. This bed was so easy to put together. It’s great quality. I really like it. I got the chestnut color in a king and it goes great with the acorn night stands I also purchased from Wayfair. You will notice there is a bit of a lip around where your mattress sits. If you are not used to this you may pinch your legs the first couple days getting out of bed.
