Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs. Set aside 5 hours to build this thing. Even using power tools it took me quite some time to build. Not a fan of the drawers attaching with just a hole. I have not been able to get the bluetooth to show up on any phone to pair. My son really wants to use the app to control the LED light strip. Maybe it's defective? Edit/Update for anyone else having this issue: The instructions tell you to pair with a bluetooth "Triones" and to install happy lighting. Even provides the qr code in the book to install this app. It seems that this vendor maybe changed their light strips to a different brand. Very disappointing, the bed I received does NOT have the same detail as the photos on the website. The vertical rungs on the head and footboard are smooth round pipe not the more sculpted detailed ones on the website. I might have picked another bed with more detail had I known. A very heavy-duty bed frame that is specialized to fit standard King or standard queen bedding. This frame will not accommodate California or Western King bedding. Frame size must be specified at the time of purchase. The frame is not adjustable and can only fit one size or the other. The dimensions of the king bedding need to be 76"w x 80" long. I'm stressing one box because there was an incident with this delivery where the FedEx driver originally showed two snapshots on my account ...one was the correct box which was left at my door and the other box left at the door of a different apt in the same building! It was obviously a fluke with the Fedex driver but Fedex never admitted to or explained what really happened with the second snapshot. At any rate, I was happy to know that I had received everything in the one box. The bed frame with the headboard is really nice! It took awhile to assemble, but, I'm sure most anyone else, especially a man, could put it together in no time! I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together.
