Love it! It looks so much nicer than our old wire kennel. Our dog is 60 lb (shepherd but on the shorter side) and our other 25 lb and they can both cuddle in it. I would not recommend for any bigger of a dog unless you are not going to put the bottoms in the drawersare not going to put the drawers in. Once complete and set up its a decent enclosure. We got it for our chickens and attached the hen house to it, just left off a couple bars and zip tied the entrance right to it. The instructions absolutely suck and we wound up having to unbolt like 200+ connections to double up the gussets. Now, my wife and daughter got the base started and then asked for my help, I never questioned whether or not they started it correctly so perhaps they missed a step. The door is like waist high to my 6’ frame so it’s a definite crouch to get in there. I can stand in between the “roof trusses”. It has a good appearance and I wonder how it will hold up to the AZ monsoon winds. I used spiral drill in anchors to pin it down, no way the little stakes it came with will keep this in our yard in high winds. I am contemplating what to do in a couple years when the top is sun rotted away, there are only a few trusses to make the roofline and while it looks great, it does not take much to push it off level/plumb. To my amazement, this came in three relatively small, but heavy boxes and we were a few nuts and bolts short but they at least give you a spare parts bag, which had enough to complete the build. Be prepared that this comes in literally hundreds of individual pieces so it can look overwhelming, just follow it step by step and comes together rather nicely, be patient nd take your time. It really is an amazing engineering feat to get this big ole enclosure in these three little boxes. Overall, I am pretty happy with it. I wish the top had the same level of structure (aka bars) as the walls so the fabric top can be optional for predators and when it simply rots away but it would be easy enough to just get some netting and/or a shade later.. Be prepared to spend a day assembling this kennel! It arrived in 3 large boxes, 100lbs each but well packed and lined with wood. All of the various parts are letter coded, the best is that all of the bolts and screws are the same size for the entire structure. The materials are heavy duty, it is best to have 2 people working and holding panels to get everything lined up. My only complaint is the main doors. For some reason the hinges ARE the screws, which doesn’t seem secure or could loosentighten over time. Second is that there is a fairly large gap between the doors and the rest of the kennel where all other pieces are very tight together. I’m using this for chickens and will need to come up with a solution to fill in that gap. All in all, I think this is great quality. It came with ground stakes to prevent the wind from taking it. Where are all my poultry people at If you are anything like me youve got a house full of kids and a backyard full of chickens and ducks. The problem is is that we also have dogs. One dog doesnt care about the chickens but lets just say the other one does. Enter this kennel. It is super sturdy and very heavy duty. We arent using it to put the dogs in but in fact to keep them out. This thing is nearly perfect! We have three dogs that we kennel occasionally when we leave the house, and I was tired of looking at three wire kennels of different sizes spread throughout the house. I decided to splurge on this 95" furniture-style kennel console, and it's absolutely everything I wanted it to be! It's STURDY. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, and assembly wasn't nearly as daunting a task as I thought it was going to be. Ours did arrive with a pretty nasty scratch/scuff on one of the bottom boards (thanks to a pretty big gash in the box from shipping), but it's covered by a kennel pad/dog bed, so not visible and not worth fussing over. Could have been fancier could have come in a different color. Backside is not that pretty and black screws on the pickled gray color weren't very attractive. I bought a PVC screen online from a big box store as they say and my husband used a couple of screws to attach it to the back, because that's what divides our living area. The screen was almost exactly the size width and height of the unit. No cutting necessary. We needed one that was 40ish inches and this at 47 and 23 in deep worked for our purpose. It serves divider and lamp table as well as dog house, between our living area and dining den in a long narrow room. I preferred quite a few of them, but most of the sizes in the pretty furniture ones, were between 55 and 80 to 90 in long. That just would not have worked for us. It was easy to put together just follow directions and make sure you have everything before you start. Took my husband a couple of hours. Going slowly to do it correctly. We're used to this sort of assembly. So there were no surprises. The drawers have rails so they slide easily and they hold a whole bunch of stuff. One of the reasons I chose this one over another one that was about this size is because on that one, the drawers as they were called were actually just wooden boxes that you shoved into cubbies. They did not have rails they did not slide back and forth easily. I couldn't have stood to hear that noise more than once. So this is lovely with nice sliding drawers. I have 20ish pound shelties who love to curl up and they took to it immediately. It's very nice for the price which was on sale plus I had some Wayfair points. So if it doesn't work out I can always give it away and not worry about that. I'm still looking for a really cool mid-century one that is about this size but this will do for now. I've got the top covered with plants and lamp and collectibles and photos and all kinds of things and it really does hold a lot of stuff. It is very very sturdy, and I guess I appreciate the fact that the wood is I don't know MDF or something, because real wood would smell like real stain and I don't want that kind of annoyance in the house or for the dogs. There is prettier furniture around, but what the heck we never entertain nobody will see it but us and I think it's just fine it's kind of a warm brownish Gray. Feels real nice on the top and latches easily in the latches can be locked. So far so good did I mention how sturdy?! I have provided a photo of the back side of this thing because no one anywhere I looked at reviews, had shown that and since this part faces our living room, I was interested to know just how finished it was and it is finished and though it will be covered up by chair or sofa or something, it's still is not something raw behind, it can be freestanding. Good value, good purchase. would have preferred the doors to be sliding doors back and forth, and or that it had latchable doors at either end. But this is a pretty decent design and the good reviews about it are warranted. By the way if you're putting something together like this you may find that the pre-drilled holes can be a regular sometimes. If they are a little tight, you can sort of stick a screwdriver in them and twist it around until you break off a little bit of the area. Or just start screwing in the screws and it will make its own way. If the holes are pre-drilled too large find a couple of toothpicks to stick in there to make it tighter. This is a great piece! It was a little bit of a challenge to put together (I mixed a few steps up). Between my husband and I we figured it out though. Great Pyrenees puppy (7 mos old) for size reference. It fits her comfortably. It has several options like a spinning foodwater dish (we didn’t install the food bowls because the baby would eat the dog food). But conceptually it’s nice to be able to crate and feed as needed. It also has three sides that open including an attractive sliding door and two ends that fully open. As you can see, the top serves as a changing station for us but could have multiple uses. My 120 x 117 outdoor metal dog kennel arrived in 2 boxes on the day stated when product was ordered. I am nit able to assemble it due to the snow and ground being frozen. I am excited to get it assembled this spring as it looks to be of good quality and as described online. I think this will work perfectly as a dog jennelchicken coop and will update at a later date. I have been using this crate for a while now. I absolutely love it! I use it for my giant breed rabbits as it allows them to have plenty of space to move around and stretch out.
