They do have soft close which is a great addition. The hanging space is tight, no sweaters or bulky items would fit. The space is only a small amount larger than an adult hanger. Might work better for small kids clothing. The hanging space is enough for a dress or longer coat lengthwise. The hanging space does not allow for clothing to be see, only the piece in front, unless you sort through them. Shoes, purses, or folded clothing can fit in the shelving area. Third one of these that I have purchased. I found them easy to assemble, and they have a sturdy structure - love that they are solid wood (except for the backing). Have stained all with Minwax wood finish oil-based ‘Colonial Maple’ Semi-transparent interior stain. They look great ! Though the boxes had encountered some bumps and bruises, the contents within each of my shipments remained safe from harm - I would attribute that to the solid packaging. I ordered the shed in grey…it arrived on time and my handyman and I put it together in about 4 hours. It was a bit overwhelming but I am happy with the result. The floor was not very sturdy but my handyman solved that by putting treated wood below it and now it is very sturdy. In addition we used the hardware included and drilled it into the concrete slab we made for it to stand on.
