It was extremely easy to put together but my only issue is that you need to be very careful when unboxing the pieces from the compartment. This is a really cute table especially if you are tight on space. We got this because we rarely would use the "dining" area of our house and have a small kitchen nook table for our primary use. We got this table to be able to seat more than just my husband and I. I love that it comes assembled. It seems to be pretty solid. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that getting all 4 chairs to store inside is nearly impossible. Three chairs fit very comfortably getting the 4th in takes 2 specialized degrees in physics, engineering and a sophisticated grasp of tetris. I felt like once we got the 4th chair in that A) we wouldn't be able to recreate the event and B) it's gonna scratch the heck out of the chairs. So we decided to store 3 chairs inside the unit and tucked one away in the linen closet. All in all a super cute table with chairs that could have used like a 1/2in more width to store the chairs.. Ok let's talk chairs! When using in a rental upholstery is a nightmare and solid would is so heavy. I wanted something with cushion, not bulky, easy to wipe off and would fit and move nicely in and out around the table. These are the chairs you want! This is pretty easy to assemble but you absolutely need a helping hand towards the end to help flip the cabinet right side up. It perfect and functional for a small space. For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support.
