I loved this table when we got it. There was a very large flaw about the size of a dollar bill that I decided to live with. Then the first time we used it my glass sweat on the surface and it left a mark. I thought it would dry, the mark remained. Every drip leaves a permanent mark. When I tried to wipe the whole area, I took the gray was off. That was unacceptable to me so I lightly sanded the surface, filled the hole, gray washeded the surface and then put a finish coat on the whole thing. The rectangular top has two extension leaves to conveniently accommodate ten guests at a time. With beautifully turned legs and a trestle base in an antique style black finish, this piece is highly versatile yet eye catching all at the same time.

The turned legs and distinctive Tamarind finish command attention, particularly at its full 120-inch length. For more intimate occasions, remove the two leaves.

This table is substantial and beautiful! The legs are beautifully shaped and solid. The finish on the top is similar to the finish on a grand piano-- it is black, streaks easily, and you cannot see any wood grain. Still, when we polish it carefully, it has an elegant gleam. The top and both leaves sustained damage in shipping. Wayfair offered us a discount and suggested a product to disguise it. Since the table is distressed anyway, we agreed. Id recommend this table if you have a large enough area and like SpanishCaribbean Colonial style. Ive paired it with brown leather, Spanish Revival chairs and it looks spectacular. Inspect table and chairs carefully asap. Mine came with multiple cracks in various pieces. Box came all taped up. Dining set is pretty. Not what I thought I was ordering. Seems cheaply made. Seats are compact so you can sit closer to the table while eating. Feels like plastic finishing even when it says wood. Quality and color of seats are more yellowish than cream and seems to be able to show dirt or stain if you spill something. Top is cut up into small wood and not a solid surface.
