This shoe bench feels sturdy, has a fairly comfortable cushion, and looks as pictured. It has a few pieces in the assembly process and the parts are not interchangeable because of the shelf embedded on one side, but it was exactly what I needed - a pretty, narrow bench to sit on while putting on my shoes by the door in my hallway, for both myself and my older parents.. The bench was delivered on the expected date. The bench is sturdy and feels like it’ll hold up for years. It wasn’t difficult nor did it take me long to put it together by myself. A lot of people said the holes were off, which made it difficult to put together. I didn’t experience that. Everything was able to be pieced together smoothly. I’m trying to get my entryway put together, and this is the first piece. I’m so exciteddddd!!. Madison. Sun Oct 04 2026

The Painswick Storage Bench is the perfect perch for removing boots in an entryway or garden shoes in the mud room. Crafted of pine in a smooth finish, Painswick's three removable woven baskets provide no-fuss storage, and a white cotton cushion completes the look with comfort and farmhouse charm.

Turned out very nice! I love it! Going to put this in my foyer for people to put their shoes in. Took about 30-45 minutes to put together wasn’t bad at all. The only thing we had an issue with is with one of the screws on the basket. We had to leave that one out because it would not screw in for some reason and it doesn’t affect the usability of it because it’s the screw in the back. Overall very nice buy highly recommend!.
