The chair itself is extremely comfortable. Unlike other ergonomic chairs, the design and color are absolutely perfect. It offers plenty of features and adjustments, making it easy to dial in the perfect posture. However, whether the factory was backed up at the time or I was just unlucky, the first unit arrived with quite a few scratches, so I had to get a replacement. The new one still has a small scratch on the armrest, but I’m just going to keep it since I really don't want to go through the return process again.. Jungwoo. Lewisville, TX. Sun Aug 02 2026

This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. The Amia chair has a secret. Beneath the Amia chair's upholstery, inside its sleek backrest, there's a unique comfort system called live lumbar™ technology. You may not see it, but you'll certainly feel it. As you sit in the chair an adjustable live lumbar™ zone flexes with your every move for consistent ergonomic support for your lower back, hour after hour, day after day. The Amia chair was designed by Steelcase in collaboration with industrial designer, Thomas Overthin of IDEO.

I LOVE my navy and silver task chair. The upholstery is perfect; very smooth for my sensitive skin. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have this ergonomic task chair with all the bells and whistles that work so easily. The lumbar feels so good on my back. The arms are so flexible to move any which way I need them to. The casters are perfect for my hardwood floor; I can flip from one area of my desk to the other freely. It was so easy to take the well-protected chair out of the packaging. It is a fantastic buy. The entire experience was exceptional and I am thrilled. It is a contemporary, decor-friendly, adjustable office chair with lumbar support. And while we can all agree that’s important, they are in fact, superficial basics that everyone has, and not true ergo-enhancements. And if you work, study, or game long hours it’s just not enough comfort, is it? 2D adjustable headrest and seat for the ultimate custom fit our tilting headrest also adjusts to your height, while the seat slides up, and down. Our 5-point base with dual castors gives greater stability and strength over the common 4-point, single-castor chairs. And the other unique thing is we give you a free set of rollerblade wheels velvet smooth on hardwood floors. No, no sweating, sticking, or mesh marks! Forget about wire mesh chairs that leave grill marks on your body. Our smooth breathable mesh provides optimal airflow to avoid sweating and sticking.

In our house, we’ve been through about a dozen different office chairs (thanks to working from home and teenagers who sit in theirs for both homework and gaming). We’ve tried a number of different brands of office and gaming chairs at different price points. And unfortunately, we were disappointed in this chair for the price. The chair looked nice, had a comfortable but breathable mesh seat, and claimed to have all the features we tend to look for: adjustable seat height, arm height, headrest, and lumbar support. The foot rest looked like a nice bonus. But once we put the chair together, we found we could not make the seat height or lumbar support adjust. It isn’t clear whether the hydraulic switches were malfunctioning, but if so, the manufacturer may be able to provide support or a replacement and fix the issue. The headrest only moved a small amount to adjust it, and this was not controlled by the same switches. It was also very tough to move up and down to the right height. The footrest was also difficult to pull out to use. The star-shaped base was plastic and came with some scuffs on it. I loved that the chair came with a good assembly manual. However, some steps were lacking in detail and were very small to try to see.. Emily. Snohomish, WA. Sun Jun 21 2026

This newly upgraded ergonomic office chair provides multi-angle support points (head/back/hip/hands), adjustable backrest tension, and high back computer chair. Choose to attach the headrest for enhanced neck support during relaxation, or remove it for a sleek, minimalist setup during focused work—all tailored to your preferences and usage scenarios. Break free from rigid designs and experience true versatility: one chair adapts seamlessly to your ever-changing needs, redefining personalized comfort.

So far so good. I've used the chair for two days now and here are my initial thoughts. * Assembly was simple and took me 45 mins. * Chair looks good and is comfortable for 8 hours. * Seat wobbles a little back and forth when locked in the 90° position. * Arm rests are very low. I'm only 5'5" tall and are two low when folded in the down position. * Construction of seat bottom looks substandard and not very well done. We will see how it stands the test of time.. Jose. FL.
