This item is SUPER cute in the pix, but def not so much in person. It's SO overpriced for the quality of the wood. The design is what you're paying for. It's sturdy when flat, but the back slats feel like they will crack off if someone puts ANY kind of pressure on it. The wood looks like plastic that was painted to LOOK like wood. Overall an amazing desk for small spaces. It is super sturdy - you would never know it's a folding desk (doesn't move at all when typing, etc.). Very easily to install including a mounting template. The only downsides are the finish isn't quite perfect - a few bubbles / imperfections. I don't care about it generally, but for the price, I would expect it to be much better.. Shazia. Toronto, ON.
