I’ve wanted this desk for months. Finally ordered. Delivery was great, very communicative. I was unaware that I was purchasing an open box item since I didn’t pay an open box price. The color of the desk is significantly darker in person than on the website. I initially thought they sent me the wrong color. The directions are awful, I should’ve paid to have it built. It’s a nice-quality work desk, and overall I’m happy with the design and functionality. However, one piece on the top of the desk arrived defective. Since I had already hired a handyman to assemble it, it would have been too much work to disassemble everything and wait for a replacement part. This desk was exactly what I was looking for to upgrade my home office. The shipping boxes had some damage but inside the parts were well protected. The instructions were OK but there were a few minor issues (eg it said you needed 6 screws but it was 5) nothing that common sense couldn’t resolve.
