For the price absolutely amazing! It’s a bit of a change for us because we switched from a HUGE oak table so it feels very lightweight to me but I might be skewed a little in that feeling. I looveee how non invasive the base of the table is - it allows so much more leg room and really brightens our kitchen. The table top is 3 separate slats of wood so the only thing I’ll add is that there are slight gaps and doesn’t lay perfectly aligned but depending on your usepreferences it may or may not matter to you. The reviews on this table are all over the place, so I wanted to share my honest experience. Quality 1010. This table is solid wood, very sturdy, and surprisingly heavy. It feels well-made and substantial. Packaging 1010. It arrived extremely well protected with no damage. Assembly 1010. Assembly couldn’t have been easier—you just attach the legs. As for the appearance, this is where I’m a little torn. I don’t love the finish. Instead of looking naturally rustic, it has more of a whitewashed, chalky look, and the wood has a slight pink undertone. In my opinion, the finish cheapens what is otherwise a beautiful table. Ironically, I actually prefer the look of the unfinished underside. That said, the table has definitely grown on me. I think it pairs beautifully with white upholstered dining chairs, and the overall shape is timeless and elegant. I also chose the 84-inch size after reading reviews that the smaller version looked a bit undersized compared to the chunky pedestal legs, and I’m really glad I sized up. Overall, while I’m not completely in love with the finish, I’m still happy with my purchase because the craftsmanship, quality, and design are excellent. I loved this table when we got it. There was a very large flaw about the size of a dollar bill that I decided to live with. Then the first time we used it my glass sweat on the surface and it left a mark. I thought it would dry, the mark remained. Every drip leaves a permanent mark. When I tried to wipe the whole area, I took the gray was off. That was unacceptable to me so I lightly sanded the surface, filled the hole, gray washeded the surface and then put a finish coat on the whole thing. I absolutely love the nook dining set! My dining area is perfect for a built-in dinette. Thanks to Wayfair, I no longer had to wait until I could afford to custom build. The quality and comfort is better than expected. It was easy to put together. It is also stury and comes with versatile slat backs (2nd pic shows both smooth surface and lattice). Absolutely stunning table!! It is a solid and sturdy piece and adding the additional two leaves in is very easy. The table is lighter in color than the online picture shows with a slight yellow undertone but overall the color is beautiful and works very well in our dining room.
