*photo to come* Wow! I can not believe this was a bed in a box! This was my first time getting a hybrid bed in a box (I’ve always just thought of memory foam in a box) so I was skeptical, but once fully expanded, I can’t believe believe it. The last pillow top plus mattress I got was way over priced, but was comfy so I always would justify to myself the price was worth it. After seeing what I can get from wayfair for a quarter of the price and double to comfort, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to buying from a big box store. The bed is firm, but still bouncy bc of the coils and super layered making it extra comfy. I am a stomach and back sleeper and have not had any issues and even my husband loves it! So it’s a win win!. Gina. Minnesota. Thu Aug 06 2026

We got the 14" mattress. I love the 800+ individually wrapped springs, and the fact that it is fiberglass-free, and has CertiPUR-US foam, and OEKO-TEX certification. The mattress also feels really nice and supportive, but also very cushiony on sore joints. I do not think the " reinforced edge support" is anywhere near as supportive as the "integrated mattress edge support" our last mattress from Wayfair featured. The last one we had was the Wayfair Sleep Medium Hybrid Mattress, and you could sit on the side of that one without it sinking down more than just a tiny bit. I liked that feature a lot as it gives you a more stable surface to sit on to put on shoes, etc. Thankfully we have a bench at the end of our bed, because this mattress edge sinks down quite a bit on the edge. (And NO, I have not gained weight since we had the last one.) My husband and I both miss that extra structure at the edges of the old one, but this mattress does feel very nice. Overall we are happy with our purchase. I would have given it 5 stars if it had had the same edge support as the previous mattress. Update: It's now been 5 months that we have been sleeping on this mattress and it is sagging. I wish I'd never bought it. We rotate our mattress every 4 months. We are not obese people, and frankly even if we were, the mattress is supposed to support 880lbs, and my husband and I aren't even half that added together. Don't buy this mattress.... Sherri. I was previously unaware of the concept of a mattress in a box. Upon visiting the Wayfair store, I had the opportunity to examine the mattress, having seen it advertised online. We proceeded to order it through the website due to the complimentary delivery service. It subsequently arrived packaged within a box. ItIt was quite heavy, so you will require assistance from another person to move it to its intended location. We have unraveled it, and as less than 24 hours have passed since then, this is its current appearance. Therefore, I will likely wait another 24 hours before placing it on the bed to ensure it has reached its maximum fullness. However, considering the price, we are quite satisfied with the purchase so far, and I will likely provide a follow-up review later.. Sabrina. Atlanta, GA. Sat Sep 12 2026

Individually wrapped pocket springs reduce motion transfer, minimize pressure points, and help alleviate joint and back pain, making it ideal for all sleep positions.

This is a very heavy mattress as it has spring coils running thru the it. The mattress came in a compressed package and rolled up in a cardboard box. Once the package is opened the mattress will began to expand! It took at least thirty minutes before it expanded to 14 inches. I purchased the mattress in a size Queen. The mattress is excellent for persons needing extra support and made of gel-memory foam. It is mediumfirm and provides motion control from persons entering and exiting the bed. Highly recommended!. So far, I’m in love! Just unboxed and letting take more shape for the day before we sleep on it tonight but, wow! Our last mattress was a Puffy, all foam, and plush. It was wayyyy too soft for us and was killing our backs. So I took a chance on this after reading the reviews and getting in for the sale. Best decision ever! I’m not exaggerating. It’s not even fully formed yet but I know it’s going to be a massive improvement and just what we needed for better back support. The shallow pillow top adds a softness that’s needed so you don’t feel like you’re sleeping on the ground. But the firm structure underneath is absolutely incredible. The best of both worlds! Exactly what we hoped for!. Lauren. Pittsburgh, PA. Sun Jun 07 2026
