Designed by Karim Rashid, the salt and pepper shakers feature flat planes at the top and bottom where the two seem to meld as one. You can grasp these shakers as a single unit for passing at the table, and fill each as desired since the number of holes on top differs. Rashid's Kissing shakers design has enchanted prestigious institutions around the world and is found in the permanent collection of the museum of modern art in San Francisco. As a wedding, anniversary, or Valentine's present, the pair is a work of art.

Mario Luca Giusti was born in the culturally rich city of Florence, Italy, and spent his early life in the family couture business as head designer for their family footwear company that was founded in 1865. Mario's love for quality design and fashion lead time to his current business designing and producing high-quality acrylic drinkware and serving pieces for everyday outdoor use. In a category that was previously dominated by mundane, poorly designed products, he has interjected a sense of style, fashion, and high quality for the dis-concerning consumer.

They look just like the photo. Nice colorful addition to a salt-and-pepper collection or 50's themed kitchen décor.. Michele. Norwalk, CT. Fri Jan 08 2016

Was looking for a cool mis-matched abstract style salt & pepper mill, so I was thrilled to stumble across this pair of misfits. They are a nice large size, look exactly as pictured, and so far work great. Yes, they do leave debris behind where they sit, but that's been the nature of every mill I've ever owned, so not an issue for me. My only complaint so far is that I haven't found a way to adjust the pepper grind size, so it comes out a bit chunky. I'm a pepper lover though, so it's not detrimental to my review. 5 stars all the way!. April. San Angelo, TX. Sun Oct 26 2025

Bigger isn't always better, but our Check® large salt and pepper shakers sure are fun! Make sure your seasoning supply is up to snuff, because demand will surely be high when calls to "pass the salt and pepper, please" result in the delivery of such flavorful pieces. With a subtle jewel-tone palette woven by an artisan’s brush through the glossy, hand-painted, high-contrast checks, we've yet to find a color (or food!) that doesn't look good with Check®.

The salt and pepper shakers are beautiful and delicious version am very happy with them. I am aware that they were hand painted and that each pice may be different. I have other pieces of Royal Check and for some reason these are considerably lighter blue in color than other pieces in my collection. They were delivered quickly.. Maryann. Briarcliff Manor, NY.
