This fireplace has been such a wonderful addition to my home. I am disabled was able to do the very small amount of “installation” required by myself -one has to screw the legs onto the unit. It adds a lovely ambiance to my living room that everyone comments on enjoys. Works good and looks nice but it would have helped if the remote control worked. There’s no way to dim the lights without the remote so it is very bright when the room is dark. Update… Contacted the manufacturer directly and they fixed the issue. They were very responsive and sent a free replacement remote control and panel. They guided me through the whole process of pairing the remote and followed through a few days later to see how everything was working. Now it is working 100 perfect!! The 270 degree view of this fireplace is really visually appealing. Ambiance is great But, the sides are a little bulky looking on sides behind the glass panel. I really like this electric heater. I prefer to use a small unit like this instead of turning on the main house heat. The imitation logs and flame look really nice. The heat comes from the bottom and is blown by a small fan. I’m giving it 4 stars because the digital display on the remote doesn’t work.
