This patented revolutionary design is the only EPA-certified and UL-listed non-electric pellet stove on the market today. The wise way is simple to start and operate. Simply heat the burn chamber and flue and start the pellet flow with a propane torch. This stove uses a natural draft that will take over and ramp the stove up to temperature. The Wiseway from US Stove eliminates the need for electricity by utilizing a natural gravity feed system that eliminates all mechanical parts meaning less maintenance and breakdowns. Adjustments are simple by opening and closing fresh air intakes on the front of the stove. The window allows you to see the flame traveling up the body of the stove. Since it uses no electricity heat is radiated off the steel baffles on the back. This stove offers extremely small clearances on the rear and sides making it easy to install. Best of all, Since it does not use any electricity this stove is the perfect source of heat for areas that are prone to blackouts or off-the-grid installations.

The front-loading solid cast iron door with large ceramic glass viewing area and stainless-steel ash lip makes it easy to refuel with seasoned cord firewood up to 18 inches long.

For the price of $809 and free shipping this was worth it for me. Having said that, there are issues. The ash drops through a chute BEHIND and underneath the unit. I have not figured out what can be put back there to collect ashes. It will have to be a wide short metal bucket of some type. I think this should have been mentioned and provided or be for optional order. Then there is the ridiculous excuse for an owners/instruction manual. How hard would it have been to expand that just a little...for instance...I do not know what the lever in front underneath the firebox is for...I assume for dropping ash.......then there is the problem of .....is the back position closing up the ash drop, or is the forward position that causes ash to drop? The unit was built in November of 2025 and arrived Dec 15, 2025 but all that notes that on the metal sheet from the back is a dimple in a box, and for the model number. I might have bought a different make of wood stove had I known all the above for $100 more plus the separate purchase of a blower....and all of them seemed to be out of stock. Then there is the metal sheet on the back that has the serial number on it. How hard would it have been to make a copy of that for the owners/instruction manual?. Richard. Marble Falls, TX. Multiple intake control for higher thermal efficiency

For proper operation and efficient fuel consumption wood and/or coal-fired furnaces, the draft must remain constant. When it is, combustion is more complete, fuels are utilized more efficiently and money is saved. A barometric Draft regulator maintains consistent draft by counteracting the negative forces caused by changes in temperature, barometric pressure, and the effects of wind.
