This was a great addition to my sunroom to replace my older 10K btu model that couldn’t keep up with the extreme colder temps (20°Fs and below). This space is not heated so my Mr. Heater acts as the primary source. I only have to turn the setting to 3 to heat the room and then down to 2. Heater kicks butt! Within seconds of being on, it produced a nice strong level of heat. The heating temperature range of this outdoor standing heater is 3 square meters, so if you have a big backyard, you will need at least 3 or 4 to keep it cozy. It's infrared heat, especially with children running around, so you don't have to worry about anyone getting burned by touching it. The patio electric heater also shuts off automatically if it gets knocked over.
