Perfect for for what we needed. Super easy to put together. Maybe 1 hour. I know there is a sticky to hold the mattress in place, but a small lip at the end would help to hold in place. We purchased a twin so the mattress is lighter weight. I would get again.. Colleen. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 07 2026

It is constructed from solid and engineered wood with a rich protective finish that further enhances the natural beauty of the wood. The slat roll foundation means there is no need for a box spring - just top with the mattress of your choice (sold separately). Make up with crisp linens for a refined, tailored look.

Beautiful bed frame, however seems like the screws come loose easily. We haven’t had any major problems but something about it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I would have hoped. Very pretty though!. Julie. Catonsville, MD. Wed Aug 26 2026

The Sapa platform bed makes its case through restraint. With no headboard to draw the eye, what remains is pure structure: a low, clean frame that lets the room breathe around it. It is a design suited to the bedroom that has learned to do without excess. The horizontal profile sits quiet and grounded, leaving the wall behind it open and the floor space uncrowded. Beneath that simplicity, the frame is built entirely from solid wood and assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, it is far stronger than its spare appearance suggests. A silent slat system holds beneath without creak or shift, and the whole assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. The Sapa platform bed asks for very little and gives a great deal in return: a calm, uncluttered foundation for rest.

Hello Im totally in love wth the simplicity of this platform bed frame It is well made and made of solid wood. The color is beautiful I wanted something simple but makes a statement The joinery makes it easy to put together and it totally carries itself with no headboard to take away from the Beautiful wood. It was a bit on the heavy side since it is SOLID WOOD ... but each piece is very straight-forward as to where its suppose to go... after all it just has 4 sides ) I put it together by myself it was a bit of a balancing act... lol ... I had read in reviews that people were complaining that you need two to put it together...you can just lean one of the long sides onto a wall then slide in the two shorter sides and then you slide the two other ends of the short side ... WELLA YOUR BED IS MADE Soo0oo... NO YOU DONT NEED TWO PEOPLE ... I PUT IT TOGETHER SOLO, JUST LIL OLE ME ) Mercedes from OK Change. Mercedes. OK. Sun Oct 04 2026

This is a beautiful bed frame. I was worried it would look too rustic or too yellow, but it doesn’t. I wish the heads of the screws were hidden with a wood cap somehow. Our bed is a bit too low for us now, so we’ll be making something to go underneath to raise it up a bit. Otherwise it looks great in our bedroom!. Hannah. Zionsville, PA. Fri Oct 16 2026

This platform bed grounds your main bedroom in light, mid-century modern style. It's crafted from solid wood that showcases its natural wood knots and structural character. It includes a built-in slat roll mattress foundation, so you can place your mattress directly down without adding extra height.

Took a little while for my husband and brother to assemble, but the results were amazing. This bed was purchased when we set up a green guest bedroom after our youngest daughter moved out post-college. Later, we gave the bed to our eldest daughter to refresh her teal bedroom in her little house ("casita") in southern Texas. She paired the bed with Boho Bouquet bedding -- also a gift from us, purchased on the Wayfair website.. Cheryl. Keller, TX. Mon Aug 03 2026

The platform style features clean lines and tapered feet that elevate the frame, keeping the overall silhouette feeling light and airy. Crafted from natural rubber wood and durable plywood slats, With reliable slats, Whether embracing a minimalist aesthetic or indulging in bohemian fantasies, this bed will elevate the look of your space, ideal for adding personality to your bedroom.

Good materials and overall sturdy but it’s not easy to put together. You pretty much NEED a drill and two people. The center supporting legs do not all reach the floor so sitting down on it can cause noise. The frame is also bigger than a queen size mattress so there will definitely be a gap on one end.. Anonymous. Sat Sep 05 2026

Mid-century modern design combines functionality with sleek lines and geometric forms that offer a simple sophistication to any modern space. The queen-size platform bed is constructed of solid wood sourced from renewable plantations and a urethane finish is used to both protect and highlight the natural beauty of the wood grains and patterns. Featuring a slat roll foundation with 12 individual slats, center supports, and support legs, this bed is built to last. Also, the slat roll foundation eliminates the need for a box spring. The classy, slatted headboard with extended posts and round tapering legs further adds to the mid-century modern element of the bed. The bed’s headboard and footboard connect with two sturdy bed rails.

Easy to put together. Have had now for 3 years and it’s still holding up strong.. Anonymous. Wed Oct 14 2026

The Fold Bed is a low-profile platform bed that folds in half for storage or moving, about 8.5 inches thick when folded. Tucked-in legs give it a subtle floating look, and rounded corners match your mattress. It supports up to 600 pounds with no box spring needed. It's made in Athens, Georgia from solid, unfinished tulip poplar, with no plywood, MDF or particle board. Great for guest rooms, dorms or everyday use.

This is the perfect platform bed that I was searching for. Our small spare bedroom's main use is as a "man cave," but on occasion when our son comes to visit, we need a good platform to put a mattress on. This was super easy to put together, folds up nicely and we can put it in a corner of the room out of the way when it's not in use.. Jurintha. CT. Mon Oct 12 2026

I own a king size mattress (9 inch height) and two xl twin box springs (9 inch height). These are what I placed on this bed frame once I got it assembled. The specs say it has a capacity of 1000 pounds. If you are going for a setup like mine you may be alright if weight capacity is a concern for you. Assembly was pretty straightforward only 2 different screw types and washers...it comes with an allen wrench. I assembled it alone and it took me about 1 hour. Was impressed that the middle support slacks were made of some sort of metal. All of my past bed frames were made of wood slacks so it feel super safe. No squeaking when getting in and out of bed so far. Frame legs have floor grips on the bottom. CONS: 1. [This one is self inflicted lol] Kinda ridiculously high since I added my box spring and a mattress. Haven't run into any issue getting in and out of bed. It's actually kinda growing on me. 2. The frame isn't crafted to inset the mattress. As a result the mattress will lay on top of the frame. There are products like Adjustable Non Slip Matress Stoppers to hold mattresses in place if this bothers you but from my setup so far everything has stayed in place so far.. Joshalyn. Augusta, GA. This bed was surprisingly very easy to assemble and I find construction quality to be impressive for the fair price. It looks really nice. I do wish the headboard was a bit taller so you can see it more once the mattress and pillows are setup, but no big deal. I would recommend this and buy it again should I need another bed in the future.. Paige. Greenville, SC. Mon Oct 05 2026
