Arrived box heavily damaged right in area that says in big red letters “handle with care”! Top and bottom busted open. Moreover — there is a highly visible drip stain falling from right side handle. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. In fact, I kind of want the bedroom set after seeing this in person. I am so happy with this purchase. I saw a lot of mixed reviews mentioning misaligned drawers and bad pre-drilled holes, but that wasnt my experience at all. While assembly was definitely time-consuming and tedious, it was pretty straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for me. The kit does come with a Phillips head screwdriver, but like most pre-packed furniture tools, the handle isnt very comfortable. If you dont have a nicer screwdriver already, Id recommend getting one because your hand will hurt after driving so many screws. I used a cordless screwdriver, which made driving screws into the areas without pre-drilled holes a lot easier, though you could definitely manage without one. The color and dimensions are 100 accurate to the product description online. However, as other reviews have noted, the drawers are on the shallow side. More importantly, the drawer slides are set up so the drawers do not pull out all the way. There is a good 4 to 5 inches per drawer that stays inside the unit when fully opened. I think this is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping, and for my needs—storing clothing like sweatshirts and sweatpants—it really doesnt matter. That said, I would not recommend this unit if you want to store something like craft supplies, as reaching smaller items out of the back of the drawers would get annoying. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy and loose when pulling them in and out, which is where its most obvious that this is a flat-pack piece of furniture. However, I was able to fit them together easily, they are perfectly aligned, and they stay on their tracks without any issues. The dresser is really lovely and just as pictured. I also ordered (and am waiting to receive) the matching tall dresser and nightstands. My biggest frustration is with the delivery process which was canceled multiple times and required me calling many times until it finally arrived a week + later than expected. This is a very nice piece. The color is exactly as pictured…it’s a pretty brown. It is made out of solid wood…small pieces that have been put together to form the top, sides, and drawer fronts. It is a heavy and very solid made little dresser. The drawers do not pull completely out. However, I don’t see that as problematic. I am very happy with this piece. I was also extremely pleased with the delivery process. This is the replacement dresser for the original one I purchased. There was no issue when the first dresser had damage to the top. The delivery person immediately called Wayfair to fix the issue. I asked for a replacement. The first dresser was loaded back onto the truck, and in less than a week, my replacement dresser was delivered. Wayfair, and their delivery people were great to work with.
