The cabinet is very sturdy and exactly what I needed. Assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. The illustrations were especially helpful and made the process quick and efficient. My only complaint is the stickers provided to cover the screw holes on the sides of the cabinet. By the second day, several of them were already curling and peeling off. A small felt or plastic insert designed to fit into the holes might have been a more durable and attractive solution. Shelves are 1"thick, and the weight capacity for each shelf is 40 lbs. per sq. ft.

While the design is classic for these cabinets, the multiple that were ordered for an education wing were all slightly off in alignment. The doors needed to be fixed and some of the backings need to be secured back on. Wayfair replaced 2 damaged in transit without any hassle. OK..Well I went back and forth with cabinets...Studied them all for days, and tried to remove the ones I found that were metal. I wanted 6 shelves, and these were taller than the rest and matched the Wonston Porter drawers that I purchased days before, so I thought they would be the same. BUT THEY ARE METAL. So, be careful there. One door is dented, and I am contacting Wayfair to get them to send another door. Other than that, they look really nice. Very useful for all my shoes and handbags.. Sher.
