Lot to assemble, but when done looks good and sturdy. The only flaw that I see is that I wish they had used a heavier duty top board rather than the half inch thick particle board which could allow placement of a printer or anything else with a little bit of weight. This file cabinet is the ideal solution for a messy office!

The cabinet looks as pictured and the size is accurate. However, the quality is just okay. Many of the pieces were coated with wood dust, which I had to wipe off; faces of pieces that are not visible once assembled are a bit scuffed and discolored; corners and edges are also slightly scuffed in some places. It's not perfect, but functional and looks good enough once assembled - as long as you don't look too closely and nit pick. Overall, you get what you pay for, and while this piece won't exactly qualify as an heirloom, it's still a good deal. Couple other things: * Once fully assembled per the instructions, the drawers don't open all the way. There are ~5 inches at the back of the drawers that never see daylight. This is by design so the drawers don't fall out, but I think 5 inches is extremely excessive. You don't *have* to put in the stoppers that create this guardrail, but then you risk drawers sliding out completely. * Get ready for a lengthy assembly process. This cart ended up being perfect for my needs! There is so much storage to it and it is very easy to put together. Each drawer has little slots where you can put in provided dividers. The majority of the time is spent on a thousand tiny screws for the supports for the drawers, but there is extra hardware in case you lose some. It’s very sound and does not feel wobbly when I put it together. Though the wheels are less sturdy than I would like. Also, it’s extremely well packaged. The packing material is super thorough and I was really impressed. Considering it’s inexpensive, there are of course some elements that reflect that, but I didn’t feel it was enough to mark it down a star since I knew what I was getting into buying something inexpensive. One thing that I loved was I expected the back to be straight cardboard, like a lot of shelving is these days. But, while it isn’t a wooden piece, it is much more solid than cardboard, not at all flimsy, and has a lovely white finish on both sides. Now, unfortunately, the slides for the drawers aren’t true slides. More like little platforms for the drawers to rest on. It isn’t impeding the function of the drawers, or how well they pull out. Still though, I wish they would have been real drawer sliders. All in all, for an inexpensive piece of furniture, it really surprised me how well it was made!
