(Update) After 5-6 weeks of owning, the back piece on the chaise side broke and now can't be leaned on/doesn't line up with the rest. This happened when leaning back, very gentle/normal use; did not exceed weight capacity. I wasn’t 100 sure when ordering that this was the sofa for us, but in person it has met every requirement! I hope writing this review helps someone else who may be on the fence. The color is beautiful and neutral, and the material feels high end. The extendable backs are cool. During the day we keep it smaller because I prefer the look, but for lounging or movie watching we push them back, it’s easy to do, feel sturdy, and the mechanism works seamlessly. Big fan. The left and right side arrived a few days before the middle piece but all very fast. About a week in and the fluffiness is holding up well. Great for the price, better than I expected Notes the back is slanted as seen in the photos. It makes the couch not as deep, but gives decent back support. When you remove the back cushions to sleep on it, its very wide. The couch in general and ottomans arent very heavy, so the ottomans tend to slide easily when moving around. First of all— the color is beautiful! If you’re looking for an earthy green, look no further! I love that it’s truly modular and really versatile for your space. I’m hoping the ottoman comes back in stock to really complete the look for us. It’s fairly easy to put together—however, with the corner pieces I really recommend putting one side piece onto the bottom piece and then putting the other side piece on. It was impossible for us to put both side pieces on and then the bottom piece— it just didn’t align with all 4 slide pieces. Once we did it the other way they were easy to put together. Also, the instructions don’t say how to unhook the alligator connectors once you put them together so we had to Google that— you lift up on the side that has the post to dislodge it from the alligator piece. The couch is firm but still comfy (exactly what we were looking for). The couch is low but again, that’s what I was wanting. I’m 5’6” and I can sit with my feet touching the ground and my back on the couch— if you’re looking for a deeper seat then this might not work. Also, cat approved!
