I bought this gorgeous cage for our budgie. It’s perfect for a small bird. I don’t recommend for the larger and stronger birds because the wires are thin and could be possibly bent. I also would not recommend it for finches due to the bar spacing and the possibility of their tiny heads getting stuck. As another reviewer stated, it’s not a shiny silver, but great. It does appear silver in the light. I love the transparent base that allows me to see my bird even when he’s in the bottom. This cage would be large enough for a pair of parakeets. I purchased the black stand elsewhere because Wayfair only had it in white. It’s easy to assemble with no tools needed. The only improvement I can see is for the manufacturer to as another door on a lower level. The one door is up high. It’s a great cage for the money and looks absolutely gorgeous in our new home.. My bird loves her new cage. I’m still adding toys and rearranging, there’s lots of room and I want her to have fun navigating various perches and from one side to the other. The only thing that I would change are the food and water cups that are designed for the food doors. on this cage. The cups are much taller and more narrow than standard bird feeder cups. They require a bird to almost stand on their head to extract food or water, and make water cup baths impossible. The assembly was easy, and all the elements were labeled and present.. Anonymous.
