Love the huge medicine cabinets! There are actually 3 separate sections. Mirrored inside and out. Only issue was that the dimensions were incorrect and instructions for contractor were also incorrect. Took 2 additional days for the install, original framed out space, was too large and had to be reframed and drywall had to be patched and textured. No lip on this item. Real pain for the contractor, and delayed construction by 2 additional days, and of course, more $ for me. Don't trust Chinese measurements. If you choose to purchase this here are two things to consider: there is no back to this cabinet so when you open up the doors, you will see the walls. This was a surprise for us. Since we ordered the white cabinet, the website picture was deceptive. Second, the mirrors come with a film on them that you have to peel off. Thank the Good Lord if you can get it off in one piece Only one section of the mirrors did that for us. The other required some elbow grease and a lot of Goo Gone (invest in a can of that). This medicine cabinet was surprisingly good quality! No assembly required, very heavy, and has soft-close doors. Some shelves are difficult to install unless you remove the hinges. One shelf peg hole was misaligned but I was able to fix the wobbly shelf with a small rubber door pad. Directions say that it takes 2 people to install it but I recommend 3. Good!!! I ordered two of these large medicine cabinets to replace the mirrors that hung over our two opposing sink areas. My husband got them installed in record time! He was able to fully recess the first one into the wall. But, due to a surprise construction element inside the wall on the other side, he was only able to sink the cabinet about an inch into the wall. This was NOT an issue with the cabinet. Our house was built in the early 1980's, and apparently the builders were oblivious to the fact that a future homeowner just might want to put a recessed medicine cabinet in that spot over the vanity sink. Perfect for any bathroom. Recesses in the wall between the studs, and simply screws to the studs on each side of the opening. Only the doors are outside the wall. Fully adjustable glass shelves inside. Our unique, patented design of shelf supports keeps each shelf in place. Concealed hinges with soft close built-in ensure the door will never slam shut, but softly close on its own instead. The box is solid pine and the Shaker-style door is solid maple. We’ve painted the inside of the box white, so you don’t have to! The door is primed and ready for you to paint it. The box is 3.5” deep inside and gives you plenty of usable depth, but fits in standard 2x4 walls. This model has two doors that open to reveal two separate cabinet sections. The Cabinet box is 12.5" wide inside. Doors are reversible to open either Left or Right. Completely assembled! All you need to do is put one screw in each hinge to mount the door. Then insert it into the wall and screw it to the studs with included screws. If you are replacing a current cabinet, measure your wall opening! White plastic trim surround covers the rough edges of your opening up to 1/2" all around. Doors cover the trim surround when closed so the only thing you see outside the wall is the doors.
