The main downside is the material. The wood is a bit softcompacted, so you have to be careful when assembling because the screws can strip if over-tightened. Also, some of the pre-drilled holes for the sliding door brackets and latches were not perfectly aligned, which made installation a bit more difficult. That said, once assembled, it looks great and functions well for everyday use.
