My package was delivered outside the building. It should be delivered in front of my apartment door. The building door entrance wasn't locked, it is always unlocked so packages can be delivered inside. More over, while delivering packages outside a building, they can be stolen. To finish with, my apartment is upstairs and I wasn't home when it was delivered so, when I found out the details of the delivery, I have to call a friend to ask for help in order to put my package inside the building and upstairs in front of my door. Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. My three kiddos are super excited about their new bunkbed! It took my husband, son, and I three hours to put it together but the pictures in the directions were straight forward. We did have to take two parts apart and reassemble them as I missed the direction they had to be facing in order to attach pieces in later steps. I put a soft bath math with a grippy bottom at the foot of the ladder and tucked it under the mattresses on either side to prevent direct falls onto the lower bedframes. The storage space on the top bunk is great for storing a good amount of toys and stuffed animals; the storage drawers between the beds on the bottom are nice for smaller items. I'm happy with the bunk bed. But my kids are ecstatic. They were celebrating it for like 30 minutes. And the best part is they sleep better now. Putting it together was as difficult as advertised and due to my fitness level, I was sore for days after. The instructions were thorough, though could have been better as some steps could be merged with later ones to make the construction easier to accomplish. And the slats portion could be improved significantly as some were shorter than others. Those steps also didn't convey that the position of each wasn't fixed. So I had to measure the bed frame and put marks down to ensure I did it evenly. I would have expected markings on the frame to indicate where the slats would go.
