This headboard is very nice and looks expensive. It makes the room look great. The fabric is nice and soft. The color is great and as described. The only issue is the way to mount it was not easy and we ended up just having to press it up against the wall and use dry wall screws. It would not fit into our king size tempurperic bed frame. We have not had issues before with previous headboards so this was annoying. It ended up working out the way we did it but still frustrating. I do appreciate that it’s wood though and not metal. I read the reviews before purchasing this bed. I was prepared for the assembly even had a saw handy for the slats. It went together fairly easy. I followed the instructions step by step. I had the help of my 75 year old Aunt. We completed it in less than two hours. My only issue was the slats were not all predrilled and the screws provided were less than great. This upholstered headboard is ok. But not really as pictured. There are no buttons. Just indentations where buttons would go. It comes folded in half, so there is a huge crease down the middle. I left it out in the sun laying flat on a hammock and that straightened it out. The headboard is lower than what I hoped. And it’s not as thick as it looked in the picture.
