This crate is perfect. The packaging protected the product during shipping. The instructions were easy to follow (not always the case with furniture). It took less than 30 minutes to build and it is solid, which is great because our dog is an escape artist! I was a little worried by the 1 star and 2 star reviews about the latching hardware not being good. PLEASE IGNORE THOSE! It is obvious that they missed an important step in the instructions regarding spring loaded latches for the inside of the left front gate. I recently assembled this dog crate/furniture piece, and overall the process was fairly straightforward. However, there were a few moments where the instructions weren’t entirely clear. A couple of times, I had to flip or reorient pieces differently than shown in the manual in order to properly align the parts and screw in the rings. If you’re assembling it on your own, I recommend taking your time and double-checking each step before fully tightening everything. Once assembled, I’m very pleased with the finished product. My large-breed dog fits comfortably inside, and the crate feels solid and well-built for everyday use. The storage surface on top is a great bonus — it functions perfectly as an end table and provides extra space for décor or everyday essentials. I got this for my Maltese he is 11 pounds and this was the perfect size for him. He has plenty of room to sleep in here. It was easy to setup and like that it’s a matte black. The locks on the door are nice because it has one at the top which is easy easy to undo but it also has one at the bottom which my kids can’t undo easily so it keeps my dog safe.. Yulitza. Looks just like it did in the pictures. I was worried it might appear too rustic for our living room but it does not. It was fairly easy to put together, having a second set of hands definitely helped. Thankfully, unlike the experience of some reviewers, all the the holes lined up perfectly for us.
