The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture. The fabric pieces arrived with some marks on them so I washed them and they shrunk a bit so they were a tad difficult to put on but I was able to figure it out. I received this sofa yesterday and so far, absolutely love it! The fabric looks very durable and well made, and although a touch lighter than expected, I think it will hold up just fine. Great sofa! The style, color and material are beautiful, down to the stitching!! It’s super comfortable but does not lose its shape. It was easy to assemble.
