Bought this for my Dad's modern farmhouse and it just brought everything together. Well-made and absolutely a stunning statement piece. The blue wood is so pretty in person and matched the blue-gray leather couches. The different colors of wood really tied together the multi-colors of wood my dad had between his older and newer things. It turned out beautiful. It wasn’t too bad putting it together, just take your time and the finished product will last a lifetime. The knotty alder wood is beautiful. I installed it between our master bedroom and bathroom, there was an archway without a door. So while my wife was away visiting family for a couple of weeks I ordered it and built and installed it before she got home.
