This is another one of those things that I loved when I saw it and then saw it again...and again. So I finally got it! So happy with it. It is absolutely perfect in the room I got it for. Do note that the lamp comes with plenty of cord and chain to hang it from a higher ceiling. I have a standard height ceiling in the room pictured and installed the lamp by using just the chain lock connector that came with the supplied chain. It worked beautifully, with the lamp not hanging too low in the room for my preference when installed this way. The metal finish on this is very nice as are all of the glass pieces. Installation was pretty straightforward, with the part that took the longest being attaching the glass pieces to the frame. While this is a really cute lighting piece I wasn’t crazy about the rope line material it’s made out of. It also doesn’t go up well. You need a box put in behind it and that is difficult process. If you want to fool with getting it to work up to you. It’s really unique and if you put it in a kitchen, den, or bath, or over a bed it would look really nice. The fact that it has “staggered hanging” shades makes it look really great. It’s a very versatile piece because of that fact. It is made pretty well. It’s not the quality that other types of lighting pieces have been that I have gotten in the past. That being said, it’s I think because of the type of material used which is naturally a less expensive type of wicker/rattan, rope type. I’m giving it a 4 stars but I wouldn’t want anyone not to buy it because of that. Just not the quality some things are. However, it’s overall a really unique, cute piece if you have a place that you think it would look good, don’t hesitate to get it and try it. Great price, easy to hang in existing light socket.
