I purchased this sleep sofa for my family room. If I need an extra sleep space for guests, this is what I selected. My number 1 reason for selecting this sofa is because it’s from Stearns Foster. I already own a mattress from them and have been extremely satisfied with the quality and comfort. I purposely sought out Stearns Foster to see if they even offered sleep sofas. I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. We really love this couch! We added it to the play area in our basement but wish we would’ve used it as our main couch now. The cushions are so soft and fluffy, it’s seriously one of the most comfortable couches I’ve sat on. Usually it takes time to break a couch in but this one was comfortable from the start. The back cushions and seat cushions are all removable and it also comes with the two throw pillows shown. It’s not super heavy so wasn’t difficult to move and seems to be made very well.
