I need all of the features this desk offers: 5-tier bookshelf, 2 drawers, 1 file drawer, 59" long desktop with a depth of 21", 2 power outlets and 2 USB outlets. All of these features are perfect for running a small business and will make getting my work done more efficiently. The user manual is 50 pages long - I'm already estimating it will take at least 4 hours to assemble! And according to the manual, 2 people are needed in order to flip certain parts. Looks great! It’s very sturdy. The black looks really nice. Took my husband two hours to put together but he wasn’t rushing. The drawers open smoothly but they do make slight sound as it sort of scrapes along the metal. The drawers don’t have stoppers so COULD fall on toes BUT they’re so deep that I can’t imagine that happening. We do plan to remedy that in some way because it for our 7yo son, but not necessary for older kids or adults. chair opening is very large which makes it nice for widercrossed-legged chairs. Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. The two sections are held together with 2 wood pegs and isn't very sturdy and leaves a small gap. Our fabric drawers came really dirty. It was easy to put together and works as a nice first desk.. We just moved into a brand new house so I'm needing a LOT of furniture some of which comes from Wayfair. Putting together this desk definitely needs two people. It took approximately 6 hours and the instructions were pretty clear, all in English. If you don't mind the drawers feeling like cardboard, it's a great deal. It is sturdy and practical.
