I love the design, I bought the white one and the top of the table looked more marbled in the photo on the website and mine only came with one streak on top and thus causing the table to look as if it is dirty. This table is wonderful. It does not look cheap or prefab, easy to put together, light yet sturdy, and I love the colors. I got the pecan, which looks much darker than it does in the photos. I knew this from reviews so was happy when I received it. As also reviewed and in the product description, the top is indeed an off white, like an eggshell color. This works well as the contrast is less stark and medical-looking than if it was pure white. My only criticism, also echoed in reviews, is the top is easy to both mark up and dent. I’ve only had it a few weeks and already has both and I haven’t exactly been abusing it, and I live alone. The marks are quite minimal so I don’t mind but I do wish it were a little more resilient. The lift-up top allows you to sit comfortably on the sofa to work or relax without leaning forward; The fairly large desktop could hold plenty of items;The top moves up and down easily and is very stable once in position;You can simply use a damp cloth to wipe the dust away.

I love it! Four stars because the bottom board is unfortunately flimsy (wish it was same as top piece for strength), because the table slides when trying to open or close top (carpet should fix that no problem), and because the top slams if don’t guide it all the way down slowly. It was easy to assemble until the last step, the top part was awkward for one person, would recommend two. If the bottom board was thicker and stronger it would be absolute perfection.
